Our Village Hall offers two rooms.
The Chanctonbury Room
Our largest room with disabled access, a stage, kitchen with serving hatch, toilets, including a disabled toilet and ambient lighting. Most suitable for functions, wedding receptions, birthday parties, large meetings, sports etc.
The floor is a multi-use composite floor complying with Sport England specifications and line marked for a badminton court, making it suitable for playing a range of indoor sports.
The room has a sound system and stage lighting.

The Dore’ Room

The opening hours of the Village Hall are everyday 00.00 – 00.00.
The Village Hall is licensed for the following activities everyday 10.00 – 23.45:
- the exhibition of a film
- a performance of live music music
- any playing of recorded music
- the sale by retail of alcohol, except Good Friday and Christmas Day. See Provision of Alcohol
20 spaces adjacent to the Village Hall, including a reserved space for disabled parking, and additional roadside parking.
Use of Parish Council Facilities
Combined with any booking of the Village Hall we can offer, with the approval of Washington Parish Council:
- the hire of the adjacent recreation ground for the use of, for example, a marquee, bbq etc.
- the hire of a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) for basketball, football etc.
